Kampala Woman Member of Parliament and a prominent National Unity Platform (NUP) lawyer Shamim Malende has gone public over a relationship gone bad with her husband Shamil Andrew Ssebunya.
Malende has alerted the public that she is no longer accessible to her social media handles including Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok plus the latest one she had just opened, Shamim Malende Esq after her former lover confiscated all of them.
“I am no longer on social media as my page was confiscated, my vehicles, a TOYOTA Harrier registration number UBK 862C and TOYOTA Super Custom number UBD 850N were confiscated and my life is in danger and in need of prayers,” Malende said.

Sounding desperate, the NUP legislator prayed to the people of Kampala and Ugandans at large who treasure her to pray for her as her latest social media page on Twitter (Shamim Malende Esq) have also been confiscated by her former husband Ssebunya.
Malende was sad to note that she is being victimized by none other than a person she had introduced into her life, her work and family, and alerted Ugandans that Ssebunnya no longer handles anything on her behalf.
She desperately appealed to all people with technical experience to help her restore her social media handles, cautioning that although you may see them, as you search, she cannot access them.
“I have no intention of jailing or embarrassing anyone, my prayer is that my pages come back. There are very many issues I am keeping behind because I am a Muganda of the ‘Mamba’ clan who knows that it is uncultured to reveal whatever happens between a couple,” she said.
Malende who sounded more bent on fighting for her social media handles, said that wealth taken is not a big issue, for the cars, she says she will travel on boda bodas but her major concern are the tools of work.
She also said that her life currently stands in danger as she doesn’t know what is coming ahead of her.
