The Police in Ssezibwa Region are holding a man who was found red-handed defiling his neighbour’s Primary Seven candidate.
Ssezibwa Region Police spokesperson, Hellen Butoto identified the suspect as Patrick Kayemba, a resident of Vumba Cell in Kawolo division, Lugazi Municipality. The victim is a Primary Seven candidate at Busaabaga Primary School and a daughter of Patrick Nzalambi, a neighbour to the suspect. Butoto said that the incident happened on Monday when the residents were tipped by the father of the daughter after finding out that his neighbour was engaging into sexual acts.with his daughter. The residents gathered and arrested the suspect with the girl from his house.
The father, Nzalambi said that the daughter who left home for school with her bag on the back ended up diverting to Kayemba’s house and he immediately engaged her into sexual acts. A video clip of Kayemba seated down with the victim made rounds on social media after his arrest. Butoto said Kayemba is charged with aggregated defilement, he will soon be paraded before court and face the wrath of the long arm of the law.
