The police in Entebbe are investigating circumstances under which a fire gutted a house killing three children over the night.
The shocking incident is said to have happened at Mpala Cell in Katabi town Council, Wakiso district. According to the neighbours, the fire gutted the house on Thursday night at around 1:00am.
Police have identified the deceased as; Ellah Namiru (12), Amani Namulema (5) and Tamale Namujju (3).
It is alleged that by the time the fire gutted the house, the children were at home alone, after their mother, Julie Nalubwama abandoned them.
Kyaggwe TV has learnt that the children’s father, Lenon Kavuma had gone for work in Jinja.
