Wakiso Chief Magistrate’s Court has remanded three men till 19th November 2025 on charges of forcible entry onto land, maliciously damaging to property thereon and unlawfully evicted bonafide occupants after destroying their crops and stealing it.

The three include; Ssejjombwe Ibrahim, Kyeyune Allan and Musoke Joseph who are said to have between January and October 2025, while claiming to be bibanja owners led a group of rogues armed with machetes and sticks, destroying the said property.

According to State House Anti-corruption Unit working together with the CID department and the Office of the Director of Prosecutions, the suspects are said to have attacked land comprised in Block 314, Plot 846 Busiro, located at Bukasa in Wakiso District, belonging to Dr. Paul Biriibwa and Peter Biriibwa.

Investigations further revealed that the accused had no evidence or documentation to prove any lawful claim over the said land, and have not been in occupation or possession of the said land at all, while the complainant has occupied it for over 20 years with a valid title dating back to 2001.

The accused are also said to have carried out the destruction without any court order.
