She urged parents not to wait for communities to shape their children’s behaviors for them, and criticized those who go violent when teachers punish the children for their wayward conducts.
A UPDF family counsellor, Maj (rtd) Hajat Katende Maloboozi has castigated parents who neglect instilling discipline in their children, and cautioned that they will in future become social misfits with nobody to correct them after the death of their parents.
Hajat Katende reminded parents that we are in the world for a short time and that the best we can do for our offsprings is preparing them to take up our roles, warning that this can only be done when they are still young and easy to bend to match required standards.
She was addressing parents of St. Frances Education Centre Namawojjolo located at Namawojjolo A village in Namawojjolo parish in Nama sub-county, Mukono district, at a function where the old prefecture handed over to their successors, and the incoming team sworn in.
She urged parents not to wait for communities to shape their children’s behaviors for them, and criticized those who go violent when teachers punish the children for their wayward conducts.

Namawojjolo ‘A’ village Defence Secretary and Namawojjolo LC II Chairman, Charles Lwanga who oversaw the swearing in ceremony, cautioned the pupils’ leaders to desist from thinking that they get elected for being the cream among their colleagues, but know that they were elected as a result of God’s favour to them.
Lwanga who doubles as the Mengo Deputy Muluka (parish) Chief for Namawojjolo, advised the leaders to brace for higher leadership positions when they come of age, and to endeavour to be exemplary in their conduct, noting that this is the way they will be accepted by communities.

The outgoing school Prime Minister, Tannwill Nakayiwa, while handing over instruments of power to her successor Rennan Charity Weere, thanked the school Director, the head teacher and the entire teachers’ body, for valuable counselling which she said has enabled them to become good leaders.
Nakayiwa appealed to the incoming team to endeavour to be diligent and execute their responsibilities with intelligence, to avoid any clashes which she added, are fraught with diverting their otherwise good and beneficial programmes.

The incoming Prime Minister Rennan Charity Weere was happy to report that the elections that saw her team being ushered into leadership were peaceful, calm and just in all senses.
Weere pledged to as much as possible strive to uplift the school standards.
The twenty-two-man prefecture headed by a Prime Minister was sworn in to run office for the 2025/2026 term.
