Tenants on Ntege’s houses were blocked from removing their property before setting the houses on fire and everything perished in the fire.
Fear on Friday gripped the residents of Lugala Village in Seeta-Namuganga sub-county following the killing of two brothers by an angry mob.
The deceased have been identified as Patrick Makubuya (45) and Sam Ntege who were killed and property worth millions of money destroyed after one of them, Ntege was accused of having hired evil spirits to allegedly make him rich, which spirits are said to have got into raping women, and leading many to miscarriages.
Following the gruesome incident, Police from Naggalama Division is said to have swung into action, arresting over 28 suspects yet over hundred residents including the village chairperson, Peter Nsama are in hiding for fearing possible arrest following this an unprecedented incident of mob justice.
It is alleged that a traditional healer who is said to be a specialist in defusing spirits, was invited to arrest the situation and as Ntege attempted to flee from the angry residents, they tried to block him from running away.

Police which had been alerted and in an attempt to stop the imminent murder, shot in the air to disperse them.
A stray bullet got Makubuya who had come to the scene and was making attempts to save his brother from the angry villagers. This threw them into more anger and they pounced on Ntege, beat him up and killed him.
They then set on his property including rental houses which were housing several shops, his home, two vehicles including a TOYOTA Harrier and a TOYOTA Probox and set everything ablaze. Seeta-Namuganga sub-county chairperson, Dennis Kimbowa said that in the last about two months, villagers have been living in a nightmare with women being raped every night, with several losing their pregnancy in the ordeal.
Police conducted an operation during which 28 people were rounded up, with a search for others including the LC I chairman raging.
The two were buried at Lugala village. Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed the incident, disclosing that a hunt is on for more suspects.
