A sad moment struck the people of Mukono on Thursday afternoon when they registered the tragic death of a bride who tied the knot in January, dying even before making a full year of holy marriage.
Judith Nanteza got married to Kosta, unfortunately, she was reported dead from yet to be identified hospital where she was admitted for safe delivery.
Nanteza, commonly known as Judie, will be laid to rest in Mukono on Saturday.

Of late, a growing number of young women are dying in different hospitals while giving birth, one of the biggest challenges in Uganda. Records show that 16 women die in Uganda every day while giving birth.
Nanteza joins the two women from the entertainment industry in a similar manner. They include; Sophie Bisirikirwa Kirabo and Olivia Mildred Namubiru popularly known as ‘Olisha M’, who were both famous in posh entertainment places locally and abroad.
Kirabo was the proprietor of one of the lucrative entertainment place known as 3 Hunnies located around Munyonyo roundabout, a known destination for customers driving the latest and most expensive vehicle models.

She left a posh storeyed home at Kitende, several saloons in Munyonyo, boutiques in Kampala and a housing estate in Munyonyo.
Close allies said she began by complaining of acute abdominal pain whereupon she was rushed to hospital where she died on arrival. She was the daughter of Haji Muwanga of Zzana and was buried at Kayabwe in Mpigi district.
And singer Olivia Namubiru Mildred similarly died in a hospital on Friday last week where she was rushed with acute abdominal pain.
She recently introduced her Nigerian fiancé to her parents at their home at Kabale-Bugonzi, where the Nigerian donated a lot of gifts including two vehicles to her parents.
She was a sibling to Star FM’s Omulongo Babirye.
