The UCU community, friends, and family will be gathering on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at 9:00am, at the UCU Mukono Campus to bid farewell to the beloved Dean, taken too soon.
The sendoff program for Pamela Tumwebaze, the slain Dean of Students Affairs at Uganda Christian University (UCU), is underway. The program begins today with a vigil at Johnson’s home in Naalya Estates on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026.
The program includes:
– Vigil at Emperor Hotel Nalya on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, at 6:00pm
– Funeral Service at UCU Mukono on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at 9:00am, followed by a journey to Mbarara
– Vigil in Nkokonjeru, Mbarara, at 6:00pm
– Funeral Service at Nkokonjeru COU Mbarara on Saturday, February 14th, 2026
– Burial at Rubaya, Keigoshora, Kashari, Mbarara, on Sunday, February 15th, 2026, at 12:00pm.
