One person has been confirmed dead and 25 others rescued following the collapse of a structure under construction at Holy City Church, Brother Ronnies Ministries, in Bwerenga, Katabi Town Council, Wakiso District.
The deceased has been identified as Lukwago Francis, a builder.
In an update issued on October 27, 2026, Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Rachael Kawala said 25 adult males had been rescued from the rubble and taken to Kisubi Hospital and Entebbe Grade B Hospital for medical treatment.
