The Traffic police spokesperson Michael Kananura has appealed to the public to help in identification of two unidentified bodies of a man and a woman, now lying in Kayunga Hospital mortuary since 26th April 2025.

The two, a male and a female, were on the fateful day travelling on a motorcycle registration number UFR 930E registered in the names of Isma Tandere, when they got involved in a head on collision with another vehicle at Nalubabwe, along Nakifuma – Kayunga road in Mukono district.

According to Kananura’s statement, the car was overtaking another one, both of whose identities were not known by press time, when it rammed into the oncoming motorcycle with two people. Both the cyclist and his passenger died instantly, and their bodies were taken to Kayunga Hospital.

He appealed to members of the public who could be missing relatives and suspect that they could be the ones, to approach Kayunga Hospital mortuary, and police for possible clues that could lead to the identification of the bodies.

The police traffic publicist stressed the importance of re-uniting the dead people with their relatives for a decent and dignified send off.
