A 34-year-old man has been arrested in Sheema District after allegedly hacking his 45-year-old wife to death following a domestic dispute over school fees for their children.
The suspect, identified as Innocent Muhabwe, is accused of killing his wife, Edrida Tuhaisomwe, in Katojo Central Village, Katojo Parish, Masheruka Sub-county.
According to residents, the incident occurred after Tuhaisomwe reportedly asked her husband to provide school fees for their children. Neighbours said Muhabwe was unable to meet the financial obligation, leading to a disagreement that escalated into a violent confrontation.
