Fear has gripped the staff of Buganda Kingdom’s BBS Terefayina at Bulange Mengo following the shocking sad news of the death of one of them in an accident on Masaka Road.
Eng. Ahmed Ssenabulya is said to have died in an early morning accident which occurred at Nabbingo Cell on Masaka Road at around 8:00am on his way to work.
A resident of Nakitokola-Nsangi Cell in Kyengera Town Council, Ssenabulya has been crushed by a speeding motor vehicle, a Fuso registration number UBA 752T while riding a motorcycle.
According to a traffic police report, the Fuso truck lost control and knocked him down as he was riding in front of it.
Eng. Ssenabulya’s remains were taken to Mulago city Mortuary whereas his motor cycle and the Fuso truck were towed to Maya Police station parking yard.
John Katumba, a bodaboda rider at Nabbingo stage revealed that the driver of the Fuso took off immediately after causing the accident which killed Ssenabulya.
Peter Muweesi, an editor at BBS Terefayina said that the deceased has been a very committed member of staff whom they are going to miss a lot as a company.
Muweesi said that Ssenabulya had just conducted his wedding last month in September 2023. It is therefore a very hurting moment to hundreds of Ssenabulya’s relatives, friends and in-laws who turned up for his wedding again to receive the sad news of his demise on October 31, 2023.
