It was on Tuesday May 23, when the Uganda People Defence Forces (UPDF) handed over the body to Sabiti’s relatives after detaining it for three weeks.

Though the UPDF spokesperson, Col. Felix Kulayigye had said that they were not going to accord official army burial to Sabiti, the institution later made up its mind and buried him.
