The tournament will feature Under-12 and Under-14 boys’ and girls’ teams, giving young players an opportunity to showcase their skills in a competitive environment.
Primary schools from Mukono and neighbouring districts are preparing to take part in the One Pass Adventure Primary School Gala 2026, a football tournament aimed at discovering and nurturing young talent.
According to an invitation released by One Pass Adventure, the event will take place on Friday, 26 June 2026, at the One Pass Adventure Grounds in Nakabago, Mukono, located about half a kilometre from the main road.
The tournament will feature Under-12 and Under-14 boys’ and girls’ teams, giving young players an opportunity to showcase their skills in a competitive environment.
Organisers say the gala is intended to promote sportsmanship, teamwork and talent development among primary school pupils. The event will also help prepare players for upcoming national competitions, including the Ministry Ball Games, the Odilo Primary School Championship and the Islamic Cup for Muslim schools.
Winning teams will receive a Champions Trophy, while players on the winning and runner-up teams will be awarded gold and silver medals respectively.
School administrators and coaches have welcomed the initiative, saying it will expose pupils to organised competition and encourage them to pursue their sporting dreams.
One Pass Adventure officials urged schools to complete their registration and payment before the deadline to secure participation.
The organisers expressed confidence that the gala will not only strengthen football at the grassroots level but also provide a platform for children to develop their talents and build brighter futures through sport.
