Shock gripped students and the administration of Mityana School of Nursing and Midwifery after learning about the sad news of one of the female students who was found hanging in the brunches of a mango tree after committing suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Agnes Nsemeza, a daughter of a UPDF officer, Robert Nsemerirwe, a resident of Kiteemba in Madudu, Mubende district.
It is alleged that the shocking scene followed Nsemerirwe visiting his daughter Nsemeza at school and he did not find her at the campus .
“As a result, the father asked for all the belongings of his daughter from school and went away with them. When he called her to ascertain where she was, the girl told him she had gone to Kampala, without going into details,” said one of the informers at school who preferred anonymity.
Upon going back home, the officer is said to have disciplined the daughter, and when she went outside, she did not come back untill morning when the family members decided to start tracing for her.
It is alleged that following the search, the girl was found hanging on a mango tree in her father’s farm.
