The High Court has sentenced two men to death for the murder of Engineer Bbosa Kakeedo, the former head of the Ndiga clan.
The convicts, A1 Lugya Bbosa and A2 Lugya Noah alias Fake, were sentenced on Thursday after pleading guilty to the murder of Kakeedo.
The prosecution told court that the murder occurred on February 24, 2025, at Kikandwa Village in Lugujja.
After considering the guilty plea and the circumstances surrounding the offence, the court sentenced the two men to suffer the death penalty.

The case was prosecuted by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), represented by Chief State Attorney Joseph Kyomuhendo, Senior State Attorney Marion BenBella and Senior State Attorney Carol Tabaro.
The prosecution team participated in the allocutus proceedings before Justice David Matovu, where the court considered the circumstances relevant to sentencing.
