“Because of that, my husband doesn’t want to have anything to do with me again, and I did it because of him so he would not cheat,” she added.
A woman identified as Doreen has sparked debate on social media after sharing an emotional account of the health complications she says she developed after using a contraceptive injection.
In a widely circulated message, Doreen claimed that she has spent the last two years wearing diapers due to excessive bleeding, which she attributes to a two-month contraceptive injection she received at a health clinic.
“Today marks two years of me wearing diapers because of the two-month prevention injection shot I took at the clinic,” she wrote.
According to her, the condition has severely affected her marriage and personal life.
“Because of that, my husband doesn’t want to have anything to do with me again, and I did it because of him so he would not cheat,” she added.
Doreen said the bleeding became so heavy that ordinary sanitary pads could no longer help, forcing her to rely on diapers daily.
She used her experience to caution women against using contraceptives, arguing that they may come with harmful side effects.
“Dear ladies, rather have two babies every year than use contraceptives. These things were never designed to help us, but to harm us. Let’s all stop using contraceptives,” she wrote.

Doreen also called on married men to consider vasectomy as an alternative method of family planning, describing it as a safer option.
However, medical experts have repeatedly advised that contraceptives affect individuals differently, with some users experiencing side effects while many others use them safely under medical supervision. Health professionals often encourage women to consult qualified healthcare providers before starting or discontinuing any family planning method.
