138 police officers who completed a four-day training in preparation for the 2026 general elections have been urged to constantly apply the techniques acquired, and be prepared for regular rehearsals.
The officers under the Ssezibwa Region successfully completed the training program focused on public order management, marksmanship, human rights, command and control.
The Regional Police Commander, SSP Magyezi Japhezi, urged officers to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the training.
Magyezi assured them that regular rehearsals would be conducted to further prepare them for operational tasks, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle security challenges during the elections.
