Mukono’s Tutor Time Kindergarten PS Shines in First PLE Sitting

In a remarkable achievement, Tutor Time Kindergarten and Primary School in Mukono Municipality has celebrated its first-ever Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results, with all 15 candidates passing highly.

The school, located in Nakabago-Kigagga cell, Mukono Central Division, saw 12 students score Division One and three in Division Two, placing it among the top-performing schools in Mukono Municipality.

Headteacher Geofrey Bbombo attributed the success to the school’s God-fearing foundation, teamwork, discipline, and committed teachers.

“Our results reflect the school’s commitment to academic and quality learner-centered education,” he said. Bbombo also praised supportive parents and the administration for empowering teachers to complete the syllabus on time.

After receiving the results, the teachers who were already at school preparing for the beginning of the First Term on February 10, all got out the classes and gathered in front of the school’s main building and started ululating, dancing, shouting and singing praises for the Lord who has enabled the school to register outstanding PLE results in the school’s first PLE sitting.

Josephine Ssenkyanzi Kimberly, one of the top performers, scored an impressive aggregate eight, with grades including D1 in Mathematics, C3 in Social Studies, D2 in Science and English. She aspires to become a doctor and plans to join St. Francis Borgia High School in Mukono.

Kimberly’s family, including her grandmother Lucy Kanyike and mother Juliet Nabbosa, celebrated her achievement at the school.

Kanyike praised Kimberly’s determination despite facing health challenges throughout Primary Seven.
