Global Junior School Mukono has once again excelled in the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results which were on Thursday released by the Minister for Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni.
The headteacher Anthony Kato Ssentongo says the school registered 209 first grades out of 234 candidates.
The results which include 15 candidates with 4 aggregates have put Global Junior School on top of the rest of the schools in Mukono Municipality and Mukono district at large.
Ssentongo said that at Global, they train a holistic learner with emphasis put on classwork, co-curricular, religion and other core values.
“For close to 19 years we have been in this field, we have children who not only leave our campus with shining results but also in their secondary schools they join after here. And we trace for our learners,” he said.
The lucky candidates who scored 4 aggregates include; Accalia Prabakaran, Ayebale Kleine Nasinyama, Birungi Joy Robinah, Emenyu Newton Dominic, Kayanja Andrew Raymond, Mawanda Saamuel Zimbe, Mulamira Joel Tugume and Murekyezi Solomon.
Others are; Nabatanzi Laureen, Namuhoma Tracy, Nantongo Sarah, Nassanga Esther, Ongom Kelvin Wana, Rwakijuma Ingrid Jael and Ssemakula Davis Armstrong.
Solomon Elungat, a parent at Global Junior School says his daughter Blessing Alexandria Elungat has studied at this school from Primary One to Primary Seven.
