Lwandasa excited believers to only delight in the Lord who he said is their sole provider, pastor and food barn, instead of praising fellow humans especially church ministers with meaningless titles like ‘Man of God’, ‘the Blessed of God’ and other high-sounding names, noting that this only serves to unduly elevate the ministers and in the process disregard their true worth in society.

The head of born-again Christians in Mukono, Bp. Samuel Lwandasa has castigated Ugandan politicians who hoodwink Ugandans into voting for them to bring peace and prosperity, and end up in acts that take human lives camouflaged as campaigning.
“Why should leadership for prosperity cost human lives, or breed violence and bloodshed? Our elections should be a bid to bring good leadership into office, but look at the enmity created on the way! It is only Jesus’ blood that was shed for others to benefit, and it ended on Him alone”, Lwandasa observed.
This was contained in Bp. Lwandasa’s homily during the Sunday service at Mt. Lebanon Christian Centre Church in Mukono, on the theme drawn from Psalms Chapter 1 verse 1 imploring believers to seek God’s blessing by avoiding walking with sinners.

He advised believers to stop attaching their life superstition, noting, “Stop attaching your life to nonsensical beliefs like ‘a rat crossing the road from the left to the right signifies danger’; Is your God the equivalent of a rat? Nonsense!”
He said, “Instead of delighting in your worldly pastors, delight in Him, instead of your pastors to be able to realize change in your life. Through praising your pastors, you will remain bogged down in one position and you are obliged to turn your eyes from the pastors to the Lord your God”.
The ‘Balokole’ head reminded Christians that by mocking church ministers with titles higher than they really are, they are driving them to assume they are in the position of God and His son Jesus who died and resurrected. “How many bishops, pastors, and apostles have died and never came back?” Lwandasa wondered.
He pointed out that it is by God’s grace that the worldly pastors are good performers, adding that calling them by mocking titles that are blasphemous to God is wrong.
