Police in Mbarara City said the three suspects were arrested following allegations linking them to the deaths of Turyatunga and Nakyanzi.
Police in Mbarara City have arrested a man’s first wife and her two sons in connection with the alleged murder of the man and his second wife.
The victims have been identified as Herbert Turyatunga and Jane Nakyanzi, residents of Kafunjo Cell in Mbarara North Division.
The suspects are Jane Kyobutungi, reportedly Turyatunga’s first wife, and her two sons.
Police in Mbarara City said the three suspects were arrested following allegations linking them to the deaths of Turyatunga and Nakyanzi.
The circumstances surrounding the alleged double murder remain under investigation, with police yet to disclose details of the motive or how the two victims were killed.
Police said investigations are ongoing to establish what exactly happened and the individual roles, if any, of the suspects in the alleged killings.
The suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.
