Former NBS TV news anchor Mildred Tuhaise has moved into a new communications role at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), nearly two decades after she began her career in broadcast journalism.

Tuhaise has been appointed Manager, Public Engagement and Brand Ambassadorship, taking on a role that places her experience in media and public communication at the centre of the corporation’s engagement with its customers and the wider public.

NWSC described Tuhaise as “a strategic media and communication professional with extensive experience at both national and institutional levels, bridging journalism, corporate communication, and public sector management.”

Her appointment follows her departure from Next Media at the end of May, marking the close of a nearly 20-year career in broadcast journalism.
