Former Parliament Director of Communications Chris Obore has been granted sh30m cash bail by court, with stringent conditions imposed on him pending the hearing of his case.
As part of the bail conditions, Obore has been ordered to deposit the land title for his property in Kiwanga, Mukono District, together with his passport, to ensure that he remains available throughout the court proceedings.

In issuing the bail conditions, court cautioned Obore and his sureties against violating any of the terms. The court warned that the property deposited as security could be forfeited to the State if the accused person breaches the bail conditions.
