NUP’s Eddie Mutwe Violently Abducted

National Unity Platform (NUP) principal, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu on Sunday evening reported the violent abduction of his head of security, Eddie Mutwe.

Kyagulanyi through his social media handles said that Eddie Mutwe was abducted from Kiwango cell in Gomq Division, Mukono Municipality.

He said Eddie Mutwe was abducted by armed men clad in SFC uniform traveling in a drone.

In a latest development, security officers of Uganda Police and UPDF have this morning surrounded NUP headquarters at Kavule and blocked the party weekly press briefing and the launch of Youth party elections dubbed protest youth vote.

Apart from sharing the pictures of armed men in uniform surrounding their party headquarters, the party leadership including Kyagulanyi, Secretary General, Davis Lewis Rubongoya and others have condemned the security acts which they say are not lawful.
