BBS Television journalist Joseph Sseruwooza has passed away. Sseruwooza died on the morning of June 19, 2026, at approximately 6:30 a.m. while receiving treatment at Mulago National Referral Hospital.

According to family members and colleagues, he succumbed to complications linked to a blood clot that was reportedly associated with ulcers.

His death has sent shockwaves across Uganda’s media fraternity, where he was widely respected for his professionalism, dedication to accurate reporting, and ability to connect with audiences.
