The President of the National Peasants Party (NPP), Farida Stecia Mayanja has been summoned by her party to answer disciplinary queries which arose when she performed at the National Resistance Movement (NRM) post nomination rally which was on Tuesday September 23, 2025 held at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
A local musician and also a parliamentary candidate for Kampala District Woman Member of Parliament seat, Stecia Mayanja has been summoned to appear before the National Executive Committee (NEC) on 25th September 2025, 4:00pm at the Party Headquarters.

The letter summoning Stecia has been signed by the party Secretary General, Sentongo Sharif Nambale.
“This follows allegations of her participation in NRM political rallies, which is inconsistent with the National Peasants Party Constitution. She is required to respond to these allegations and will be given a fair hearing,” the letter reads.
