Attention has recently shifted to the Yogi Group of Companies in Njeru Municipality, Buikwe District, as well as other foreign-owned companies in Luweero, Mbale, and other parts of the country, after photos resurfaced showing Among visiting some of these companies during campaign activities and posing with several of their directors.
The images have fueled speculation online as authorities reportedly intensify scrutiny into the sources of wealth and political connections of senior leaders.

The controversy escalated after the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and the chairman of PLU reportedly withdrew political endorsement of both Among and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa amid allegations of misuse of taxpayer resources. However, no court ruling has been issued proving criminal wrongdoing against either leader.
Political sources further claim that President Yoweri Museveni convened a high-level security and political meeting at State House Nakasero on Friday night to discuss concerns surrounding the conduct and spending habits of senior government officials following reports about a luxury Rolls-Royce vehicle allegedly linked to Among.
