This time, we are also focusing on beneficiaries of the Parish Development Model (PDM), many of whom have started small-scale enterprises and are adding value to their agricultural produce,” Namatovu said.

She noted that PDM beneficiaries will be given exhibition space to showcase their products, interact with potential buyers and expand their markets.

Like the inaugural edition, this year’s exhibition will also feature schools showcasing students’ innovations and project work developed under the new lower secondary curriculum.

Students pursuing agriculture and business studies will have the opportunity to engage with experienced professionals and exhibitors throughout the event, enabling them to gain practical knowledge and insights into agribusiness and modern farming technologies.

Organizers say the exhibition is expected to strengthen agricultural productivity, encourage value addition and connect farmers with reliable suppliers and potential markets, contributing to improved household incomes across Mukono District.
