The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Duties, Moses Karangwa Kalisa, has graduated from Kampala University with a diploma in Social Work and Social Administration.
Karangwa, who also serves as the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairperson for Kayunga District, was among more than 3,500 students who graduated during the university’s 26th graduation ceremony. Of the graduates, 1,838 were female and 1,706 were male.
Speaking after the ceremony, Karangwa said that despite the limited time he spent at the university, he gained valuable knowledge and plans to further his education.

“I have spent a lot of time doing business. Now, after acquiring skills in social work, I am going to do more work in this field and ensure that I transform my community and its surroundings,” he said.
He also encouraged fellow businesspeople to consider returning to school to expand their knowledge, noting that education provides a broader perspective on business and other areas of life.
The ceremony, held on Thursday at Kampala University’s main campus in Ggaba, recognized academic excellence across various disciplines. It featured the awarding of certificates, diplomas, degrees, master’s degrees, and postgraduate diplomas, and celebrated students from 13 different nationalities.
